The Quarab is a horse that has blood from the Quarter Horse, Arabian, and/or Paints. In 1989 the United Quarab Registry was created. In 1991 the Painted Quarab Index was added. This index included the American Paint horses patterns of tobiano and overo. The body type of the Quarab must resemble the stock horse type. The forearm and gaskin must be muscular with a well-rounded hip or an Arabian type neck, barrel, and croup.
