The New Kirgiz was originally in the collective and state farms of Kirgiz by crossbreeding Thoroughbreds and Dons. The New Kirgiz are used for meat and milk production as well as stock work. These horses are easily adaptable with a clean-cut head, straight back, are short legged, with defined withers. The New Kirgiz’s are divided into three types: saddle, standard, and thick and massive.
